IP-Guard enkripsi read only mode fokus terhadap berbagai enkripsi dokumen dengan format berbeda, pengguna hanya bisa di lingkup yang diizinkan dengan read only mode membuka dokumen, tidak bisa copy, print ataupun printscreen, untuk mencegah data penting dibocorkan secara ilegal.

Fungsi
Read only mode
- Pengguna bisa seperti biasa membuka dokumen rahasia, namun tidak bisa edit, cocok untuk pengguna yang melakukan komunikasi antar departemen.
Mekanisme manajemen otorisasi yang lengkap
- Terhadap kebutuhan pengguna secara ketat mengatur otorisasi penggunaan dokumen dan lingkup penggunaan.
- Dokumen enkripsi jika mau di-dekripsi, harus mengajukan ke admin, setelah menerima pengajuan, sistem secara otomatis akan memberitahukan, jika admin keluar, bisa dialihkan ke sub-admin yang telah ditugaskan untuk mengizinkan.
Di luar kantor masih dilindungi
- Terhadap pengguna yang dinas luar / offline , bisa diatur waktu offline dan hak penggunaan dokumen untuk memproteksi keamanan dokumen enkripsi.
- Pengguna jika mau offline jangka panjang, harus mengajukan ke admin.
- Jika ada kebutuhan offline sementara, bisa diajukan dengan cara mengimpor file otorisasi, mengaktifkan policy offline.
Mekanisme backup yang beragam
- Backup server bisa langsung menggantikan IP-guard server yang utama jika terjadi kerusakan, menjamin sistem enkripsi berjalan dengan baik.
- Bisa mengatur disaster resistance time, saat internet tidak stabil/putus, sistem enkripsi berdasarkan waktu yang diatur tetap bisa beroperasi.
- Dokumen enkripsi secara jelas dibackup ke server, jika terjadi insiden, dokumen penting akan tetap utuh.
